Can you give me a price over the phone?

For common jobs — power points, fan replacements, simple lighting — yes, I'll give you a ballpark on the call. For anything custom (switchboard work, EV chargers, faults) I'll quote on-site, no call-out fee if you don't proceed.

Do you do after-hours and weekends?

Yes for genuine emergencies (no power, burning smell, hot switchboards). For everything else, weekdays are best — weekend slots fill up fast, so call early in the week.

Will you quote before you start the job?

Always. Fixed price in writing before I touch anything. If something extra turns up mid-job, we agree the new price before I keep going.

Do you work on strata buildings and real estate?

Yes. Strata maintenance, common-area lighting, real-estate fault calls, between-tenant safety checks. Invoiced to the strata manager or agent directly.

Are you fully licensed and insured?

Yes — NSW Electrical Contractor Licence (number on every invoice and quote) and public liability insurance. I can email a current Certificate of Currency on request.

How do I pay?

Bank transfer or card (tap-and-go on site). Tax invoice emailed within 24 hours. No deposit needed for jobs under $x,xxx.
